I am a full-stack developer with over 3 years of experience building web applications and services. I got my start as a Rubyist maintaining legacy Rails applications. I now regularly work in multiple languages across the stack including RoR, Go, Node, and React. I'll always consider myself a Rubyist, at heart. ♥️

I am passionate about application security, scalability, and performance. I enjoy grokking legacy systems, deleting old code, and building features end-to-end.

I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, currently based in Cleveland, Ohio. Before I was a software engineer, I lead another life as a professional musician and voice teacher. I hold a Masters in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and I still perform around the Northeast Ohio area.
